„Save the heritage of our ancestors“

The main goal of the project funded from the EEA Grants is to make the place accessible to visitors, especially to disadvantaged groups of citizens, all that through the restoration of the Parič Castle and improvement of its infrastructure. The activities promoting the castle are mostly targeted at disadvantaged citizens, young people, local community members and the expert public as well as potential visitors from Slovakia or abroad. One of the partial goals of the project is to restore Parič Castle, necessary research included.

In the view of expected deliverables and results of the program, apart form the restoration of Parič Castle, the project also focuses on the upgrade of the existing infrastructure so as to significantly improve the accessibility of Parič Castle to the public. The administrative part of project delivery will be arranged by MsÚ Trebišov. Other activities of the project: design and engineering activities, including the preparation of supporting PDs necessary for project submission, site supervision, and the process of public procurement conducted under Act No. 25/2006 Coll. on public procurement as amended. In order to ensure the best implementation of the project possible, an external company was selected to manage the project.
